Cost Estimating Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Cost Estimating Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects by analyzing proposals, blueprints, and other documents. This role involves working closely with project managers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency and project feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed cost estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
• Analyze project documents such as proposals and blueprints to determine labor, material, and time requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure cost-effective project planning.
• Provide insights and suggestions for cost-saving measures and risk mitigation.
• Maintain a database of historical data for cost estimating and project pricing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cost estimating or cost engineering.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with industry-standard cost estimating software.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a Cost Estimating Engineer or in a related role.
